3/19/2007 - HGH the Human Growth Hormone Supplement for 50 and Over
HGH the Human Growth Hormone Supplement for 50 and Over
Author: James Zeller
When I was 21 my eyesight was keener, I was stronger, my skin looked smooth, my sex drive was in overdrive and I felt like I could pick up the world, place it on my shoulder and walk off with it. Well now I am 56 and it feels like I did pick up the World on my shoulder and now I have no place to put it down! Welcome to 50 and over! As you age your pituitary gland produces less human growth hormone than it did at your peak, which was 21. The ideal condition would be to stimulate the pituitary to produce more HGH to prevent aging. Human growth hormone has been collected by harvesting HGH from other humans and injecting the foreign HGH into the body at a cost of $3000.00 to $4000.00 a month. This application requires a prescription. There is another method called precursors that can allow the level of HGH to go below the level that you are currently manufacturing in your body, which is dangerous as it may cause the pituitary to shut down. The Homeopathic version includes small amounts of human growth hormone that is “activated” by transferring energy from the homeopathic’s hand into the bottle of formulation. No clinical evidence supports this method of production at this time. And then there is the natural way. A “releaser” is natural herbs and minerals that stimulate your pituitary gland to produce more HGH, which gives you a more youthful life and body with no side effects. The releaser should only be chosen that has a clinical history; doctor formulated and be taken orally. I was beginning to see age spots on my skin, hair thinning, loss of libido, memory playing tricks on me, having trouble sleeping, vision dimming, and the lack of energy. I began to see the benefits of using an HGH supplement that would stimulate the pituitary gland. My cholesterol level has become like the thermometer, up and down like the temperature and wrinkles where I never had them before. Some people want to roll back the aging clock back; I just want to stop it! If an HGH supplement will arrest my aging process and take some time off this body that I have accumulated, I’ll consider it a bonus! When you are 50 and over you soon grow to realize quality of life far exceeds quantity of years. I watch folks my age and younger now struggle to get up from a couch, groan as they stand after sitting, ache for no apparent reason and I am happy for the discovery of HGH supplements and the myth busting of the fountain of youth. There are vendors who sell HGH plus other natural vitamins, supplements and minerals. Most are without clinical trials to back their product. I tried to find a product that had a 10-year history and a doctor formulated product that would have no side effects on ME other than natural youth changes. I also looked for a reputable company to buy from that had a money back guarantee and a professional web presentation. James Zeller writes for numerous alternative health websites and blogs. 3/15/2007 - HGH Or Human Growth Hormone, A Glimpse
HGH Or Human Growth Hormone, A Glimpse
Author: Yvonne Loubet
HGH is an abbreviation for the term Human Growth Hormone which is a treatment for people who are severely behind in growth. It is mainly used for children, although there are many benefits associated with adults taking the hormone as well. This hormone is produced by the pituitary gland. While years ago it was necessary for the hormone to be supplied from a pituitary gland, science has developed HGH that is synthetic and just as high quality. HGH is a protein based hormone that helps with the growth and production of cells. It has been shown to show significant improvements when injected into children who are severely behind in their growth. There are many advantages and very few and rarely occurring side effects. The hormone is injected into muscle or subcutaneous tissue. In most cases, injection is painless and done with the same type of syringes used for insulin. In children, there are many different ways in which HGH works. It can help them to grow faster and they will have increased strength and better motor development as well. Body fat may lessen as a sign of development. Probably the best benefit to this treatment is that children will emotionally and socially reap the rewards as they grow and become more capable of meeting the goals of children their age. In adults, HGH can help in a number of ways as well. It can give enhanced energy and even strength. It can also improve bone density as well. Muscle mass increases may be at the risk of adipose tissue, though. It is undetermined whether the mortality of adults taking this hormone will be affected, though. A basic injection will be three injections per week. The doses are usually only 25% of what children receive. Many adults who experience human growth deficiency (the cause for needed HGH) do not get the treatments that can benefit them for a number of reasons. First, the cost is high and many insurance companies simply do not cover it. Or, they may fear the injections or simply will refuse to go see a doctor. Probably the most difficult of all reasons why individuals, children and adults, who suffer from human growth deficiency, do not seek treatment is the cost. In the developed world, most children who are severely deficient will be offered treatment. But, the costs can range from $10,000 to $30,000 a year if not more. For adults, this is significantly lower because they require a much smaller dose. But, for many this is an unreachable goal. The good news is that most children do get the treatment through one means or another. For anyone suffering from this disorder, any relief can help them to repair not only their bodies, but their fragile self esteem and emotional well being. In Europe and in other countries besides the Untied States, hormone treatments for children are administered regularly as treatment for this disease. The benefits are enormous because, simply put, children can go on to grow as their peers do without the risk of side effects and prolonged problems. This in itself can lead to many happy families. 3/12/2007 - HGH Crisis: The Gathering Storm
HGH Crisis: The Gathering Storm
Author: Kevin Roberts
For those who thought the Barry Bonds fiasco was an enormous black eye for Major League Baseball, it may soon be overshadowed by the upcoming crisis regarding former journeyman pitcher Jason Grimsley, who was busted by the federal government. Grimsley, who pitched for seven different teams in 17 years, always seemed to be looking for an edge. When steroid testing began, Grimsley switched to the undetectable human growth hormone, or HGH. HGH, which may only be confirmed by future blood tests, isn’t detectable through the “pee” test. As ESPN’s Jayson Stark put it on Wednesday, Grimsley “was caught, red-handed, with HGH.” This situation is by no means a major deal because of the stature of Grimsley—a well-traveled pitcher who was never really all that good—but because of what it could entail for the rest of Major League Baseball. When investigators begin to connect the dots, Major League Baseball could be in for a crisis that will make the 1994 strike look like an early-season slump. The worst part about this for baseball is that Grimsley admitted that he changed his cheater’s potion because of the rules that were instituted. Steroids are testable, but HGH is not. Logically, if a major league player still wants to cheat and not get caught, what would that player do? This crisis will change the dynamic of Major League Baseball for a long time to come, if not forever. If baseball doesn’t get a grip on HGH, then the impact could be devastating. If the players and owners thought the fans were perturbed when the players went on strike in 1994 over money—apparently, they were unhappy about only making $9 million per year instead of $10 million—then the backlash regarding a lack of policy on HGH will unleash a powerful firestorm. Before the government steps in and shows how inept the baseball owners and the commissioner’s office really is, Major League Baseball has to put its foot down and take a stand. Bud Selig must confront Donald Fehr and the player’s union and make them agree to a blood-testing policy. This isn’t just a move to save face. This could well be a move that will be needed to keep baseball from striking out for good. 3/9/2007 - HGH 1000
HGH 1000
Author: R. Drysdale
If you search for HGH 1000 on the internet, thinking that you are going to find a supplier for a human hormone replacement product, you are likely to have a very frustrating time. Though a Google search does turn up a lot of hits, none of them seem to have anything to say about a product with that name - some of them provide a hopeful looking link, which subsequently leads to yet another page that has nothing to do with your search. Perhaps it is a product that has disappeared from the market. No worries - if HGH 1000 doesn't exist, there are lots of other HGH products out there to choose from, as you will quickly discover from your search. Navigating the many sites, most of which warn you about the competition, can lead to a great deal of confusion. You will soon be wondering who can be believed, and you may find yourself visiting your pharmacist or physician to get some straight information on human growth hormone. That's probably not a bad plan. To help sort it all out however, you can divide the various products available on the internet roughly into three categories. There are vendors who claim that their product actually contains human growth hormone. The competition points out that the only way to get any benefit from the real thing is to have it injected, and only a prescription from a medical doctor can provide that treatment. Moreover, providing the hormone for anti aging purposes is not approved, and is therefore illegal. Perhaps the original HGH 1000 was one of these. Then there are vendors who are selling a product containing a complex of amino acids meant to provide the same benefits as actual human growth hormone. Interestingly, one such product is named GHR1000, the GHR being an acronym for growth hormone replacement - perhaps this is what HGH 1000 turned into at some point. Detractors point out that this is really just a mixture of proteins that have no relationship to growth hormone and shouldn't be compared to it. Finally, there are the products that are reported to stimulate the human pituitary gland to produce more human growth hormone on its own. This seems like a sensible approach but there is, of course, debate about whether it actually works. If it does, then the product would supply the actual growth hormone at reliably safe levels. In the end, if a human growth hormone product or hormone replacement product produces the desired results - a return of vitality and energy and a youthful feeling - then it's doing something. If the never-ending websites and the debate on the internet confuse you, get away from the computer and seek some straight information from a trusted source. Then you can make an informed decision about where to spend your money. R. Drysdale is a freelance writer with more than 25 years experience as a health care professional. 3/6/2007 - GABA: An Inexpensive, Natural, and Effective Way to Increase HGH
GABA: An Inexpensive, Natural, and Effective Way to Increase HGH
Author: Danielle Sims
Suppose you can turn back the hands of time to 10 years ago. You would look younger, have more energy, and be slimmer. HGH (Human Growth Hormone) is a chemical produced in the pituitary gland of the brain. HGH is reported to decline starting at the age of 25. Some of the many benefits of increasing this hormone in the body are: o Lose fat, gain muscle o Increase energy level o Enhance sexual performance o Increase cardiac output o Remove wrinkles o Eliminate cellulite o Increase memory retention o Improve sleep quality o Improve skin elasticity o Increase exercise endurance o Increase bone mass HGH supplements can cost from $49.95 all the way up to several hundred dollars for a one month supply. Recently, an amino acid called GABA has been shown to help increase HGH when taken internally. You can enjoy the benefits of HGH without paying a high price. What is GABA? GABA (Gamma aminobutyric acid) is a gamma neurotransmitter (A neurotransmitter is a substance that transmits nerve impulses across a synapse. A synapse is a region where nerve impulses are transmitted across axon terminals.). It's in high concentration in the hypothalamus, so it plays a significant role in hypothalamic-pituitary function. The pituitary gland is the master endocrine gland affecting all hormonal functions of the body including Growth Hormone. A study from the First Medical Clinic at the University of Milan in Milan, Italy showed "In all of the 19 subjects studied, compared with 18 controls, plasma growth hormone levels were significantly increased (above 5 mg/ml) by acute oral administration of 5 g of GABA " The hypothalamus is a region of the posterior section of the brain and is the regulating center for visceral (instinctive) Functions such as sleep cycles, body temperature, and the activity of the pituitary gland. There have been literally hundreds of clinical studies on GABA and numerous studies on GABA's ability to elevate growth hormone levels. This study showed over a 5 1/2 fold increase in plasma growth hormone levels 90 minutes after GABA administration. That is a significant increase unmatched by any other nutritional means. GABA's growth hormone elevating effects is said to rival that of potent pharmaceutical compounds. Maximum Results To benefit from GABA's ability to increase growth hormone levels and fat burning capabilities, you can start by taking 3-5 mg per day. HGH is released within 90 minutes of falling asleep so if GABA is being used for fat loss it should be taken immediately before bed. Taking GABA before bedtime will also help improve sleep cycles leading to more restful and also has a calming affect. If GABA is being used for it's calming properties or any of it's other positive benefits it may be taken anytime. The powdered form of GABA is ideal since it will be absorbed in the quickest amount of time. Mix the powder in 8 ounces of water or juice. This dosage should be taken at night, 30 minutes before bedtime. Where can you purchase GABA? You can find GABA at your local health food store or vitamin store. Be sure to purchase the powdered form fro immediate absorption. You may have also seen the ads that are popping up all over the internet for a product called Dream Shape (http://www.cara2.com ). This product is 100% pure GABA powder. They offer a free 2 week trial size of Dream Shape. If you decide to continue with the product, then they will send you a month supply every month and charge you $29.95 each month. Afforedable Supplements (http://www.afforedable-supplements.com ) online store carries several name brand 100% GABA powders at a substantial discount. Their prices range from $13.95 - 16.95 per 1 month supply. GABA is a great addition to any weight loss and diet program.
